#Mad max fury road blu ray how to# #Mad max fury road blu ray movie# #Mad max fury road blu ray full# #Mad max fury road blu ray series# Max may be understood as the plot's central figure, but this is actually Furiosa's show all the way, and Theron is a beautifully furious heroine that can tussle with any man. Like the previous installments being inspired by current events, this fourth entry also boldly speaks to contemporary concerns about individuality and moral depravity, and Miller explores these ideas by alerting our eyes to a new action hero for the 21st Century, one we've been sorely missing for the last couple decades. With the highly-talented production designer Colin Gibson constructing the Frankenstein-like vehicles - one porcupine-like gang of marauders awesomely alluding to Peter Weir's 'The Cars that Ate Paris' - Miller succeeds on every level, delighting the senses as so few have in years. Each one allows for the action to play out on the screen without the confusing rapid-fire edit cuts and lingers on the many expressive faces of the cast. He composes beautiful extreme wide shots to give a majestic sense of space and distance, and then spruces things up with medium shots and close-ups to heighten the suspense. #Mad max fury road blu ray full# Carefully working with cinematographer John Seale, Miller uses the full frame in dazzling fashion to immerse his viewers. #Mad max fury road blu ray how to# As though MillerВ wereВ directly commenting on the current state of action movies, he demonstrates how to properly make an action film while harkening back to the days ofВ good-oleВ fashioned practical special effects. It's visually striking choreography of live-action stunts seamlessly blended with CG wizardry, and it's sometimes difficult to tell the difference where one begins and the other ends. What ensues is basically an extended scene of the road battles from ' Road Warrior' and ' Beyond Thunderdome,' and Miller saturates the screen with one breathtaking action sequence after grippingly stunning action sequence, each leaving a memorable impression. Driving an armored tanker truck filled with water, gasoline and Joe's most prized possessions - five young women forced into breeding his children - the disease-ridden leader chases after them with his army of white-painted War Boys and with the aid of his equally insane brothers' war parties from Gas Town and Bullet Farm. In a script Miller co-wrote with graphic novel writer Brendan McCarthy and Nico Lathouris, the plot follows Hardy's Max through the Australian outback, grudgingly assisting the tough-as-nails Imperator Furiosa (Charlize Theron in her best role in years) escape the tyrannical clutches of the messianic Immortan Joe (Hugh Keays-Byrne, best remembered as 'Toecutter' from the 1979В original). He's now a wounded soul of very few words, on the verge of cracking, continuously haunted by visions of those he was unable save in the past. As in the previous films, our reluctant antihero has already given up hope of a new civilization, a lone scavengerВ drivenВ purely by survival, and Hardy does a marvelous job stepping into the role that made Mel Gibson a worldwide star. #Mad max fury road blu ray movie# For nearly two hours, Miller takes us on what could be the most insane road movie ever produced, once again setting the former MFP officer and widower in direct opposition to a lawless maniac. As soon as Max explains he exists somewhere between the dead and the living, the Australian-born filmmaker kicks it into high gear, tightly gripping the back of the audience's neck and doesn't let go until the last final minutes. In the opening moments, Max Rockatansky (Tom Hardy), seen staring out into a lifeless desert abyss and munching onВ rawВ mutant lizard, announces that crazy is the new norm in a wasteland created by the careless pillaging of Earth's natural resources and atomic wars.ДЄs if finally tired of doing family-friendly fare with tales that followed an optimistic pigВ and a dancing penguin, Miller opens this brilliantly spectacular motion picture with the loud sounds of engines revving. In Miller's wretchedly dystopic yet action-packed nightmare, those base natures give rise to power-hungry megalomaniacs and madness. When all four features are watched in sequence, this is merely another glimpse of a society slowly reverting back to greedy, animalistic instincts - a twisted progression of devolution. #Mad max fury road blu ray series# Thirty years after the last installment in the ' Mad Max' franchise, and another thirty-six since the first that started it all, George Miller returns to his apocalyptic vision of the future in the high-octane bombast that is 'Fury Road.' And like the films which preceded it, this fourth entry in the series is a spectacular display of humanity barely surviving on the brink of extinction.

Jageer Singh, the pradhan of the dominant Rai Sikh community, says, “We were successful in changing mindsets unlike our neighbouring villages. Premo’s is among the 100-odd Rai Sikh families in Theri Mor Singh.Īt Dhani Satnam Singh village, barely 5 km away for example, people who initially used dry single- or double-pit toilets upgraded to ones with septic tanks on their own. The main challenge were the migrants and lower-caste Sikhs and Dalits,” says Sukhwinder Singh, consultant, DRDA. We had one belt of Rajasthani Chaudharies, another of Sikhs of upper castes. “When we started, 70 per cent of the population was already using some form of toilets. Officials say the demographics of Sirsa helped achieve the initial success. New beneficiaries have emerged.” From 500-odd volunteers, the programme is down to 14 “paid motivators” in the district. The last survey to identify BPL families eligible for toilets was in 2010. But we haven’t been given funds for follow-up surveys. Says Indraj Singh, NBA project director for Haryana, “The true test of a sanitation campaign is the practice sustaining in the village. In the next three years, 283 of the 334 villages of Sirsa district got the award, which came with funds between Rs 25,000 and Rs 5 lakh depending on their population, to improve sanitation further.ĭRDA authorities say cracks emerged soon after the government withdrew from the villages. Ther Mor Singh village won the Nirmal Gram Puraskar in 2008 for ‘eliminating open defecation’. Now we have to go to a canal 3 km away.”Īpart from whistling at defecators to shame them, the sanitation drive used measures such as mixing a glass of water with real faeces to tell villagers that the water they drank was similarly contaminated, and involving women and children as volunteers. Instead, the landowning farmers became so ‘modern’, they don’t allow us into their fields anymore. “In 2007-08, the pradhan would come with the district authorities everyday and promised us the first government toilets if we motivated others to stop going to the fields. The expert opinion is that once initiated into using toilets, households do not go back to defecating in the open. His wife Najab Bai, 70, is back defecating in the open. Today she goes to the fields to relieve herself, with Premo accompanying her for security. She dropped out of school three years ago after Class VI to help at home. Premo’s daughter who accompanied her during patrols as a swachhata doot is now 15. A BPL-card holder who was identified in 2010 as among those entitled to a Rs 9,100 subsidy to build a toilet at home, she is still waiting for her funds. Those heady first days of the sanitation effort, however, are already long behind Premo. In the 2011 census, 87 per cent of the population in Sirsa was registered to be using toilets, the highest for a district in the country. Starting October 2007, the Sirsa District Rural Development Authority (DRDA) adopted this “shaming” strategy among other measures as part of the UPA government’s Nirmal Bharat Abhiyan (NBA) to achieve total sanitation. He cursed her, Premo says, but promised never to defecate in the open again. Putting her own embarrassment aside, she continued trailing him, firmly blowing her whistle every time Singh attempted to sit down. She gave in, but on the third day, she did not relent. It was the same the next day, with the old man begging her to let him be. I followed him to the fields and whistled every time he would start squatting to defecate,” Premo recalls, to giggles from the crowd around her. “I remember the first time I found him, it was 5 am, around the time our daily patrolling would start. There was this old man in her village, Ratan Singh. She wore it on a red thread around her neck. Six years ago, Premo Bai of village Theri Mor Singh was given a “lal seeti (red whistle)” as a “swachhata doot (community volunteer)” working on an intensive sanitation drive lasting two and a half months in Sirsa district.
